    Original (one-of-a-kind) gelatin silver real photo [3-1/8" x 2-5/8"] from an amateur photo album section dated 1913 ~ it still has the full caption (not all of the caption shows on the scan, but it's there): "Empsie Smith's cottage at Willoughby Beach" ~ Miss Empsie Smith was a resident of Ghent, VA (DeBree Place) in 1904, but this was her parents' cottage (Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Smith, I think of Richmond) ~ Empsie made the Norfolk society pages on a regular basis ~ Willoughby Beach, Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Virginia
