EVANS ARCHIVE IS HOSTING BROWN BROTHERS THE OLDEST STOCK PHOTO AGENCY IN THE U.S.
Recently acquired by Lelands, Brown Brothers is the last of the great photo archives
A unique archive, it originates from the 1900s to 1930s. But it also includes  the 19th century right up to the 1960s.
We will be offering thousands of original, vintage images on eBay in the coming months. They will cover all areas of popular culture:  sports, Hollywood (including many of the celebrated Photographers such as George Hurrell and Nickolas Muray), music, historical, and more.

Rear Admiral Richard Byrd was a skilled aviator for the U.S. Navy, served in both World Wars  and was a recipient of the Medal of Honor.  He was also an active Polar Explorer and claimed to have been the first to fly over the North Pole although his claim was later disputed.  Byrd also headed up an expedition to the South Pole and received numerous awards for his lifetime of exploration achievements.
