    Description

A note to all Ebay buyers:
Please note that Israeli mail service to most countries is limited because of the global pandemic and there are delays in the shipment and arrival of items to all destinations. Shipping procedures are slow and buyers must expect long mail time. Buyers must acknowledge these issues before making a bid. Thank you for the understanding.
    Up for auction is a
    very rare
vintage 1927-1930 black & white original photo of the
    FAIRCHILD AVIATION FC-2
    Amphibious Seaplanes
    #G-CAHL
    with winter skis at an
    unknown crash site.
Manufactured in 1927, The FC-2 landing gear was interchangeable and could be fitted with skis, wheels, or floats, making it very adaptable for various landing surfaces. The Fairchild FC-2 was specifically designed, with its enclosed cockpit and aerial camera, to be flown in the bush. This plane was part of Fairchild Aviation until 1930, when it was sold to Jamaica.
The photo is numbered #1464 and has an embossed stamp mark of the photographer/maker:

    I normally use
    Registered
    Airmail
with limited internet tracking for items valued up to 0.  If the customer prefers a courier-based shipping service such as
    Priority Mail
    (
Express Mail Service with full internet tracking)
and is willing to cover the higher costs, I will be happy to accommodate.
In the case of lost or damaged items, Registered Airmail covers compensation for the item value & postage costs up to 0 maximum.  Higher levels of compensation are included only in the
    EMS
    services.
It takes up to 3 or more weeks for delivery. Sometimes postal service is getting slower especially at weekends and holiday. Occasionally there may be delays because of extra security checks at the post office.
I have earned my high feedback record by being honest, fair and by describing items for sale as accurately as possible.  If any buyer finds that this is not the case, I will gladly refund. (Buyer is responsible for shipping charges).
Good Luck and thanks for bidding!
