Uncle Fred Engver Schumacher Vintage Photo Morrell Studio Elgin Illinois Glasses

Offered is an original photograph of an a serious looking gent, in glasses with a mustache.  We obtained the photo in an estate lot with quite a few others. From the different writings in the lot, we believe that the family name of the estate was Parson, they came from Illinois. Evelyn Parson was born Evelyn Louise Meyer, her mother was Elsie Louise Engver Meyer, born in 1892 in Illinois. I believe Elsie's mother was Louise Schumacher Engver, who was married to Emil Engver. Many of the photos have writing identifying the people as Engvers and Schumachers. On the back of the photo is written: "Uncle Fred ... Live in Elgin Ill."  We are guessing that this gentleman is a member of one of these families, we could be wrong, but it all tracks. In black and white / sepia, the photo measures 4 x 5½ inches. It is in good used condition with a crease running across the middle.
