Digital DEC DECnet-DOS V1.1 V2.0 V2.1 RX31 Floppy Disk Sets and V1.1 Manual Set

Description

This lot includes a manual set and three versions of 5-1/4” floppy disk media for DECnet-DOS.  This software was used to connect IBM PC/XT/AT or compatible personal computers to a DECnet network so they could communicate with DEC computers (PDP-11, VAX, etc.).  Two binders are included:

I used this software in the late 1980s on PCs equipped with 3Com ETHERLINK 3C501 8-bit ISA Ethernet boards.  The manuals and floppy disks are in excellent shape, especially given their age (1986-1988).  That said, I would be very surprised if the floppy disks were still readable after all this time, so please consider this if you bid.
