BLACK HUNTERS AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN PULLS WHITE COUPLE CART VINTAGE SNAPSHOT PAIR

Description

I was excited to see the first snapshot photo of the four black hunters with one white hunter. I didn’t even see the white guy at first and just liked the camaraderie. Even after seeing him, it seemed like a quiet moment of democracy.
But then in the second one the man from the far left in picture one is pulling a cart with the same white man seated next to a white woman. Puts me in a whole different space.
Each is stamped on the back: "STANDARD PHOTO COMPANY SERVICE."
Each is unmounted.
SIZE. Each is approximately 4 x 5 inches.
CONDITION. 1) Rectangular faded area at bottom. Crease at lower left.
When tilted, some scuffing is apparent.
Some wear at corners. Some soiling on the back. 2) Horizontal tear at right, just above center, is about 1 1/4 inches long. Crease at upper right. When tilted, some scuffing is apparent. Some wear at corners. Some soiling on the back.
APPEARANCE. Each is glossy. Each has very good sepia tones, except where faded on #1.
