I have learned over the years that No two articulated/pivotal dolls will have the same tightness/looseness in their joints, but they all hold posing positions when placed on display.  These dolls are more loose in the hips due to the way they are constructed.
ARTICULATED/PIVOTAL DOLLS SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH THE UTMOST CARE, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR ADULTS AS A COLLECTIBLE,
