Awarded to James T. Richcreek who along with Forrest A. Reiley developed the patent under IBM titled "Parallel addressing of a storage hierarchy in a data processing system using virtual addressing" Some natural surface wear (fine scratches etc), mostly on the bottom surface. I've seen other IBM paperweights, most with a small embedded part, I couldn't find any examples of this design.
