    Historical Negative Collection
Glass plate negative and photo from the Brown Brothers Photo Archive file marked "Equitable Fire".  Incredible images shows the Equitable Building fire in New York City on January 10, 1912.  Supposedly fire-proof the building was a total loss with 6 people dead including the Battalion Fire Chief William Walsh.  Freezing temperatures and howling winds hampered the Manhattan fire fighters with ice, frozen water lines and jammed fire apparatus.
Brown Brothers retains the copyright for this image(s).  Reproduction is prohibited.
Shipping:  We will combine on multiple lots to save you on shipping.  You have up to 30 days to combine. We send out revised invoices on multiple purchases every Monday.  Please wait for a revised invoice BEFORE you pay.
