Recently acquired by Lelands, Brown Brothers is the last of the great photo archives
A unique archive, it originates from the 1900s to 1930s. But it also includes
the 19th century right up to the 1960s.
We will be offering thousands of original, vintage images on eBay in the coming months. They will cover all areas of popular culture:  sports, Hollywood (including many of the celebrated Photographers such as George Hurrell and Nickolas Muray), music, historical, and more.

Historical Negative Collection
Negative from the Brown Brothers Photo Archive file marked "Hudson-Fulton".
Collection of images showing the elaborate celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Fulton paddlewheel steamship and the 300th anniversary of Henry Hudson's discovery of the Hudson River.  The celebration was organized by a group of wealthy and influential New Yorkers including J. P. Morgan and Andrew Carnegie and spotlighted the many highlights of New York City and its people.  There were parades, illuminated statues and ships and an extravagant display of fireworks over the river.
Great images of the Wright A Flyer plane used in the flying demonstrations by Orville Wright showing the canoe they attached to the bottom.  He did a flight over the Hudson and back along with circling around the Statue of Liberty referred to as "Around the Lady".  Here they have pulled the plane out of the storage shed.
