Historic Negative Collection
Excellent collection of images of the SS Berlin a Norddeutscher Lloyd express passenger liner launched in 1908 from Bremen Germany. She saw service as a luxury liner from that time until the outbreak of WWI when she was turned into a mine layer. The images show the luxurious accommodations and amenities offered to the passengers and a rare glimpse into trans Atlantic travel during the early 1900s.
Close up scans are included to show details.
